Hello,
I am looking for any information about Anton Wunder and his wife Luisa. They probably came from Hungary to Peterstal around 1805/6. Does anyone know where exactly they came from?

The book Erinnerungen an die deutschen Kolonien des Grossliebentaler Rayons bei Odesa by Eduard Mack states Anton Wunder came from Hungary to Peterstal in 1805. He may have been in Hungary for just a short time. I looked though our records of families from Hungary to Russia and I don't find this surname in any of the major towns that most Germans settled in before going to South Russia. You might want to check the Budapest, Hungary archives.
