Have you searched the Black Sea German Research database located at
http://www.blackseagr.org/blksea-db/searchform.php as I found a lot of this surname there. Submitting your family tree to the database is another way to find others who are researching the same surnames. And since the database is open to the public, researchers from around the world are using it. If you are interested in submitting your family tree, go to
http://www.blackseagr.org/gedcom-submit.html for instructions on creating and submitting a family tree.

I live in Canada, but have many Dombowsky relatives, as that was my mothers maiden name.
Her great grandfather was Franz Dombowsky, born about 1820 in West Prussia, married to unknown.
They had one son, Jacob, born in West Prussia, 1848, married Katrina Loschiysky, born 1855, Russia. They had 12 children, one of which was my Grand father Linus.Dombowsky, born 1888, December,at Rostov, Toganrog, Russia. Linus married, Helena Jaschinsky, also born Rostov in 1891, but they married and lived in Claybank Saskatchewan. I have a 37 page Dombowsky family tree, and would be happy to see if any names you are looking for are on it.
