I'm trying to figure out what happened to my g-g-grandfather, Christian Daniel Peltz.

I have a passenger list showing him coming to America in 1885, along with several of his adult daughters. He didn't seem to end up in the Kulm/Fredonia, ND area where my g-grandmother Juliana Peltz Billigmeier lived.

My theory is that he might have ended up in the Hebron or Glen Ullin area with his son August, but I can't find any records to prove it. Or maybe with his daughter Karolina Peltz Finck (not sure where in ND her family ended up) since she also came over in 1885.

I would love to find out where he died and is buried.

Thanks for checking!

Wow - that was close, but birth year is far enough off not to be the right Christian. But the Find-a-Grave site is a great resource. I need to use that to see if I can find some of my other ancestors that disappeared mysteriously.
