I know there is a partial index of burials for Emmons County, but I haven't found what I'm looking for on it. Back in 1918, when Jacobaina Walz Reich died in Pollock, Campbell County, SD, her remains were supposedly brought to Emmons County, ND, for burial. Now, that could have happened later, when a bunch of graves were relocated due to a dam being built. This woman is an enigma, and we'd really like find her grave. Is anyone familiar with graves being moved from Campbell County, SD, to Emmons County, ND? Moreover, were records kept of graves that were moved?
